The RAF pilots from the Armstrong and Miller Show can be said to show the postmodern blending of one cultural form with another from the recent past, using the colllision for an ironic and comedic effect. This is perhaps an example of what Jencks calls the 'eclectic mixture of any tradition with that of its immediate past.'
